The Worst of Times are the Best of Times

I hear we are in the middle of a recession.
Forgive me, but I choose not to participate…And that’s the same advice I give to every one of our clients. The 80’s was a time of excess, the 90’s a time of greed, and over the past decade businesses in America have become complacent and lazy as a result. This recession is just what the “Business Doctor” ordered: A wakeup call in the form of a shot in the ass to get us thinking and moving again. My advice? Be aggressive: Don’t back off just because you hear there’s a recession or because you’re experiencing a dip in sales. While everyone else is wasting time worrying about how long this recession will last or how low their stock will go, now is the time to spend smarter, advertise smarter, sell smarter, gain market share, and dominate your category!
I agree these are the best of times for companies that are aggressive, looking forward to doing “Smart Business” and are playing to win. Our company Sunera is growing in the Business Consulting field not only because we excel at what we do, but we also push ourselves to go the extra mile. I like your BLOG “You sleep when you die”, as it is still true in a recession that those with vision and the perseverance to go further than their competitors will always succeed… This may be the best time ever for strong, quality company’s to prove themselves against larger, less agile concerns…Ari Roloff, Director-Sunera Business Consultants: http://www.sunera.com
