Hat Trick Plus One
Jan 19, 2012
In hockey, when you score three goals in a single game, they call that a “hat trick.” It’s pretty tough to do. For south Florida hockey fans it’s time to celebrate a very special player who just scored a “hat trick plus one.”
That would be defenceman and alternate captain Brian Campbell of the Florida Panthers, who was just named to his fourth NHL All-Star Team.
Congratulations and thank you, Brian, for all the talent, professionalism, commitment, and excitement that you bring to this game. You have been an inspiration to the entire Panthers franchise.
Brian is one of the true stars of our league. He has, as I predicted, been an outstanding addition to the team, and a major factor in its turnaround this season. After a disappointing finish last year, the Florida Panthers are now in contention for first place.
I liked this guy the moment I saw him play, and I knew he was going to do great things in South Florida. If you’d like a quick look at the awesome level of play that won Brian another trip to the All-Star Game, click on this:
Brian will take the ice for the NHL All-Star Game in Ottawa (his home town) on January 29. All of us at Zimmerman Advertising salute his accomplishment, and look forward to a great second half of the season.
