My Results From The 3rd Presidential Debate

If you missed the 3rd Presidential Debate last night, you can watch the entire 90 minute snoozefest above. Yes, I said snoozefest! I call it that because although Obama was his usual snarky self, Romney played a bit of rope-a-dope. Romney played it like he was ahead with 60 seconds left and decided to just run out the clock.

Will it work? Well, I guess we’ll know in a couple of weeks. However, I can tell you that live tweeting the debate was a lot more interesting than just watching it. The conversation on Twitter was much more engaged and spirited. Trolls aside, I was able to interact with people from all over the world, from all demographic perspectives, and we had respectful discourse.

I was placed in Twitter jail again but before I was put behind bars, I was able to have nearly 300 engagements and I was able to get a bunch of new followers. I advise you to give live tweeting a shot. The way things are headed, it seems that Twitter is taking over television. At least with regards to live television (sports, entertainment).

This last debate wasn’t as exciting to watch, but the Twitter firehose was smoking as usual. In another conversation filled second screen, #socialtv experience, I was able to have interaction with people all over the world. Here is a thread of the discussion.
