You Sleep When You Die

If the members of Congress don’t shape up, put our country’s financial house in order, and stop running deficits, then they’re fired. Period.

The United States government is the biggest business in the world, and for our political leaders, Republican or Democrat, to think it’s okay to run a deficit is just plain wrong.

This post is dedicated to everyone who supported Barack Obama in 2008…it’s now obvious that you wasted your vote.

I believe the prosecution was shamefully manipulated by a ratings-hungry press. As a result, it brought a case to trial that was too damn weak to win a conviction.

If the American people are tired of ‘business as usual’ in Washington, they’re definitely tired of Republicans and Democrats.

The two-party system in this country was supposed to be a good thing. It was supposed to encourage political parties to find common positions that would appeal to large sections of the electorate. Instead, the parties in our two-party system have gotten too strong over the years. And more importantly, they’ve lost direction. They’ve lost sight of the real issues and are consumed with towing the party line. Most politicians today – especially career politicians – don’t care about what the people want. They’re only concerned about pleasing their party and getting re-elected. The two-party system in this country is broken.
