There’s been a lot of speculation lately about whether Donald Trump will run for President in 2012. I don’t know whether he will or not. And I don’t know whether I’d vote for him if he does. But I do know this: he should absolutely run.

While I was humbled and honored to receive the Excalibur Award, it also made me stop and think about how others feel about receiving awards. What does it really mean to be honored? What’s the appropriate response? How am I supposed to feel? How should I react?

Just in case you haven’t noticed, we have a massive federal deficit in this country, somewhere to the tune of $1.5 trillion. This obviously isn’t a problem that can be solved overnight, but there is one solution that would offer a significant reduction to this growing number: legalizing marijuana.

President Obama officially announced his 2012 re-election campaign on Monday. The new campaign is urging the supporters that helped get him elected in 2008 to mobilize once again to “protect the change he’s brought over the past two years.”
