What privacy?

How safe are we really when we’re online? According to many experts, not very. There’s been lots of the talk lately about the new privacy policy that Facebook announced last month. Haven’t heard of it? You’re not alone. Most people haven’t heard about the new policy, much less know enough about it to understand it. Basically, Facebook has now made certain profile information public BY DEFAULT. That’s right: this means most of your personal data will now be available for anyone to see (unless you take the time to change your preferences).
