You Sleep When You Die

There’s been a lot of speculation lately about whether Donald Trump will run for President in 2012. I don’t know whether he will or not. And I don’t know whether I’d vote for him if he does. But I do know this: he should absolutely run.

President Obama officially announced his 2012 re-election campaign on Monday. The new campaign is urging the supporters that helped get him elected in 2008 to mobilize once again to “protect the change he’s brought over the past two years.”

He certainly has changed things…

For the first time in our country’s history, we have municipalities that could possibly go bankrupt. We have a national government that is trillions of dollars in debt, and that number is growing by the second. Why do you think that is?

We have a HUGE problem with elected officials in this country today, and it’s called CAREER POLITICIANS. For most of these people, political service isn’t about the issues. It isn’t about what they’re going to do for their country or their constituents. It’s about getting elected…over and over and over again.

I didn’t think it was possible, but it seems like the political ads are actually getting fiercer as today’s midterm elections get closer. The candidates continue to viciously and personally attack one another. I have no idea what most of them stand for because they haven’t told us. The only thing I know is why they don’t like their opponent. That’s going to do very little to help me decide how to vote.

November 2 is right around the corner, which means the 2010 midterm elections are almost here. There’s no way you can miss them with all of the political advertising that’s running right now. The problem is that almost every candidate out there is doing almost everything WRONG!!
